Gas Production

The company’s top priorities include expanding its processing capacity, producing electricity at its own power plants, and operating in the transportation and gas production sectors. To ensure optimal performance in all aspects of petroleum gas consumption, LLP Olimpgaz uses the most advanced equipment. The gas must be processed as part of an integrated system for collecting and using associated petroleum gas. The company’s state-of-the-art gas processing facilities can produce both liquid hydrocarbons and dry stripped gas, which are widely used in Kazakhstan’s commercial and industrial activities. The company produces high-quality products that meet Kazakhstani government standards and the technical requirements of the Customs Union.

Priorities for LLP Olimpgaz include gas production and supply, as well as the expansion of processing capacity and energy generation at its own power plants. LLP Olimpgaz uses the most advanced equipment in each location to ensure connected petroleum gas consumption operates at its best. Processing related petroleum gas is an essential part of a larger system that collects and uses the gas. The company’s state-of-the-art gas processing plant can produce both dry stripped gas and liquid hydrocarbons, which are widely used in Kazakhstani industry and commerce. The high-quality products produced at the plant meet State and Customs Union technical norms.

In 2022, LLP Olimpgaz became a leader in the integrated approach to gas processing expansion by establishing the Gas Processing Division (UPG). In 2021, LLP Olimpgaz transported 10 million cubic meters of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and dry stripped gas, accounting for 14% of all gas deliveries. Due to increased gas production, international gas sales increased by 3% to 6 million cubic meters. The favorable change and lower gas prices in the local mobility sector will eventually benefit drivers and users of public transportation. The LPG industry has a significant opportunity as it replaces gasoline and diesel fuel in river vessels.
