Oil Refining
LLP Olimpgaz is involved in two commercial activities: trading and refining. By working with major refineries in China and Russia, LLP Olimpgaz is able to process more than 500,000 barrels per day. LLP Olimpgaz operates three competitive 17.8 million-ton-per-year inland refineries in China and Russia, and its strategic goal has been to build a smart refinery with process automation at its core. When we work with the best and use the newest technology, we achieve maximum operational performance and profitability while strictly adhering to safety and environmental regulations. LLP Olimpgaz is in a prime location.
The business is updating its catalytic cracking catalyst selections with assistance from specialists at the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences’ Institute for Problems of Hydrocarbon Processing. Hydroprocess catalyst development is under the purview of the Kazakhstan Institute of Catalysis. In order to create a sulfur-free product that met all Euro-5 standards, Kazakhstani scientists had previously created catalysts to hydrotreat intermediate distillates. The business has recently concentrated its refining efforts on satisfying the market’s demand for premium petroleum products.
Through refinery modifications, LLP Olimpgaz has been able to expand its product line, improve the quality of its products, and increase its market share over time. The restoration of this oil refinery is one of the most significant historical turning points. During the program’s implementation, environmental class K5 motor fuels were generated internally at a 100% rate in accordance with TR TS 013/2017 Technical Regulations. Since 2019, the company has been producing motor gasoline with improved operational and environmental attributes at many of its refineries under the names AI-95-K5 Euro-6 and AI-100-K5.
The refinery produces bitumen, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and roofing materials in addition to other petroleum products, aromatics, roofing and insulating materials, and liquid paraffin, among other products that satisfy international quality standards. LLP Olimpgaz expands its industrial facilities annually. The refinery is creating a tiered process flow diagram innovation strategy to reduce operating costs, improve the quality of petroleum products, improve industrial and environmental safety, and save costs overall.
To do this, LLP Olimpgaz uses top-notch operational systems, such as the Manufacturing Execution System, System Analysis and Program Development, Operator Training Simulator, and Corrosion and Inspection Management Systems. The operational effectiveness of the refinery is significantly increased by these creative projects. The minimum manning concept helps with operational optimization by using a multitasking approach and cross-training operation and maintenance personnel. LLP Olimpgaz is able to make well-informed judgments thanks to enterprise performance management and reporting systems and a top-notch integration infrastructure.
